My interest in photography began few year ago while working for a jewelry company with an in-house photography studio, where I was in charge of organizing commercial photo shoots and managing schedules and deadlines. Paired with my love for cooking and entertaining and my strong belief in 'real food' (I am Italian for a reason, you know...), I started my own foodblog, developing recipes and shooting the results. I managed www.onegirlinthekitchen.com from 2009 to 2014, when I realized that my career goal is to work as a professional food photographer, and I decided to dedicate my energy and time to that only. I've learned everything on my own by constantly practicing, observing other people’s work and using online resources, and over time I've been able to develop my own style, which one could describe as rustic/vintage. Now I work with stock agencies and collaborate with magazines and newspapers on their food section.
