Visit us at spacecampfilms.com! We are Nick and Elizabeth: a team of two directors with years of experience shooting commercials, documercials, branded content, and corporate projects of all shapes and sizes. Elizabeth is the queen of getting great moments from real people, and Nick’s work is driven by visual lyricism. Because of the variety of our different styles, we're the right choice for a broad range of different projects. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and our ability to create top quality content at a broad range of budgets without being hindered by the large overhead of a larger production house. We do tip-to-tail production beautifully and efficiently. Elizabeth Orne was recently named a “New Director” to watch by SHOOT. A graduate of the NYU Graduate Film Program, her film “Crazy Glue” was nominated for the Student Academy Award, was an Official Selection at the Telluride Film Festival, and is currently airing nationally on PBS. A 13th-generation American, Elizabeth grew up listening to her grandparents, aunts, uncles and parents tell stories around the campfire. Tall tales, true tales, absurdist yarns (complete with talking raccoons), and uniquely American war stories (Paul Revere is an ancestor) were her inheritance. She studied Art History in undergrad, and went on to work in major contemporary art galleries in London, New York and Los Angeles before discovering her love of filmmaking. Nick spent eight years as a commercial photographer specializing in portraiture, and his work is featured in major magazines, album covers, and international advertising campaigns. Recently, he started his migration to film, and now is primarily a director. But before these, Nick was at different times a teacher of American Literature, an editorial feature writer, a sailboat captain, and an oceanographer. He finds his unexpected past makes him a better storyteller, and tries to bring that experience into his film work. You can view his photo work at laclairimages.com.
