I am a photographer originally hailing from the midwest, but am now based in the Seattle area (Tacoma to be specific) and am available throughout the Pacific Northwest. After earning my degree in photography from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I started as a lead photographer for a library archive photographing historical maps and scratched-up negatives in a dingy, repurposed projection booth. I now shoot full time for a range of clients specializing in food, lifestyle, portrait, and documentary photography. Throughout 2017, I had the pleasure to work with UW-Madison on the Lands we Share Initiative creating editorial photographs of Wisconsin’s ethnically diverse farming community. My love of all things edible has also brought me to shoot many exciting food and restaurant projects, including a year-long assignment traveling across the country making images for over 1,500 restaurants. If I’m not shooting or traveling, you can probably find me on aimless urban treks or hauling an overfilled grocery bag home.
