I am originally from El Paso, Texas where I learned my trade and had the opportunity straight out of high school in 2000 to work for Star Media Productions as a Production Manager, and then got hired with KDBC Channel 4 for their Morning Show, KTSM Channel 9 as a Videographer, and KFOX News at 9 as a Senior News Editor. I ensured timely and accurate post-production of the morning and the prime time show, and edited top stories and teases. My job also consisted of controlling outgoing feeds on a live newscast, supervising editorial staff, creating news stories and editing franchise packages for major magazines and journals. In August of 2006, I won an Emmy along with staff members for the El Paso, TX flood coverage.
