George shoots. He loves telling stories... with one frame or motion. George began drawing at the age of four. As a teen, he began taking slides with an old Leica range-finder camera that his father gave him, producing dazzling science reports and winning awards and recognition for his art in school. His interest in photography continued while serving in the Army as a newspaper editor and producer, developing film and printing photos for his unit's events and responsibilities. shooting both on the ground and from the open doors of a UH-D1 "Huey" helicopter from 2000 feet up. (Banking a 90 degree turn and watching the horizon disappear is a rush!) After his military service, He attended The Maryland Institute, College of Art studying design, illustration, photography and film and received his BFA. Working in several large and small ad agencies, his years of experience in advertising design, storyboarding low- and high-budget commercials and award-winning industrials in film and video have influenced his approach to shooting photography and video today. George lives in Maryland, with his family and Cooper the dog.
