Flavio Gallegos is an internationally published Filmmaker and Photographer always looking for that next story to capture. You can find his work in print, canvass, and digital media outlets. After leaving the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army National Guard with honorable discharges respectively, Flavio pursued his passion of film making and photography by enrolling in The Los Angeles Film School. Hollywood is where he made a name for himself working in the media industry for 5 years with the music, fashion, and art scenes of Los Angeles, CA. He has a solid team of industry filmmakers to handle any size project. Moving on to more serious and involved projects, Flavio Co-founded a non-governmental organization (NGO) called Crisis Relief Overseas – CROS. He worked as a forward deployed journalist helping to capture the stories of Syrian refugees in Northern Jordan. Most recently, a physically and mentally rigorous assignment came up to film in Cuba, and Trinidad & Tobago, Flavio answered the call with ease. The project included run and gun documentary-style film making, while capturing the transition and evolution of African Yoruba culture in the diaspora and Caribbean islands. Flavio Gallegos is a freelance media / creative director with solid competencies in web design, photography, and high definition video production. He is currently available for hire to work on assignment for: private companies, editorial, commercial, and NGO clients.
