Feeney + Bryant Photographers's Overall Rating

"Try not to lay the dishes symmetrically for the hero shot. Otherwise, looks good. Thanks!"

"1. Please be mindful of your color balance. Some images look orange. If you are dealing with tungsten or mixed lighting, please set a custom white balance in your camera. If you cannot do this, please make sure you are balancing properly in post-production. Food tends to look unappetizing with an orange cast. 2. Next time, try to include props such as utensils, napkins, drinks, side dishes, etc to communicate size and proportion. Implementing more propping in the frame will allow images to look less static and give diners more perspective."

"In the future, try to get wider shots of the individual dishes. Otherwise, looks good. Thanks!"

"1. PERSPECTIVE MISSED-- Single-dish menu items should be shot from a more natural perspective. Ideally, the angle should not exceed 60 degrees. 2. Please do not make photo composites of the hero shot. All of the dishes should be shot together during the shoot. The only time you should resort to a composite is if you are unable to get all of the dishes together to shoot. If this happens, please leave a note explaining why you didn't follow the style guide."
