For more than a decade and through hands-on experience, university classes, workshops, and mentor relationships I have never stopped learning about photography, nor will I ever stop learning and growing through creative experiences and readings. In 2016, after a long search, I found my birth father and his family. It turns out I have two sisters who reflect my creativity and attitude towards life! Thanks to life's great paintbrush, it turns out one of my sisters is a professional photographer in Edmonton! Go visit her site at www.carterphotography.ca - and David Carter Photography is born! We are building an empire! I have a passion for photography that surely shows in my work! I specialize in wedding photography, portrait photography, and real estate photography, but have covered many events such as family reunions, camps, sporting events and comedy shows to name a few. I am proud to have had the honour to do work for UberEats, Industry West Magazine, The OCD Collective, The Ranch Ehrlo Society, The Saskatchewan Rush, National Magazine, The Shoeless Joes, The Saskatoon YMCA, The No-No's Comedy Improv Group, The Saskatoon Red Cross, The National Inside Ride and much more! Landscape photography and documentary photography are my favourite genres to explore. I love combining the two in my wedding and portrait sessions in order to create stunning scenes that tell a story through minimal posing and lots of candids that capture the emotions of the day. What is your story going to look like?
