Small Business Marketing Videos
Once I get a project, I contact the business and ask them if they have any particular vision for the video or want to approach it the way I usually do it. Usually they pick my approach, which is to have them write up a list of items they want to make sure are talked about their video and a list of items they want visually represented in the video. I then inquire about how many people will be talking on camera and request a location with a lot of light and space during for the talking on-camera part of the. When I get to the location, I set up on the on-camera talk first and then film the b-roll (video visuals to represent the business). I didn't get into video/film to promote business, but the more I have done it, the more I have truly loved being able to promote local businesses and help them connect with their customers, even if only for a minute.
