I was born and raised in Lewiston Maine. I received my BFA in Photography from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA in 2005 and started my career as a professional freelance photographer. Since then, I have gained experience as a documentary journalist while traveling to different countries (Canada, Spain, Aruba, Italy, Mexico, Mali) and freelancing for weekly newspapers. I have also assisted photographer Lou Jones with studio lights, cameras and subjects in his studio and out of his studio. As my career progressed, I started working for GradImages, MarathonFoto and Brooklyn Limegreen. In 2015 I moved to New York City and started working for Lors Photography photographing high school sporting events and tournaments, Irvin Simeon Studios photographing school portraits, New York City Runs Inc. photographing races and public relation events and Kodakit photographing food dishes at restaurants for delivery apps Doordash, GrubHub and MealPal.
