My passion for digital media began when I was 13. I discovered I could draw cartoons by hand in Photoshop and stitch the images together to create short animated movies. I would create new animated shorts under the moniker EW Films and premiere them for family and friends. I spent my high school years making short films with my friends, figuring out how to mimic hollywood film styles and special effects. In college I studied video editing and production while working freelance as a production assistant for The Earl Jones Institute of Film, Americas Next Top Model and Elimidate. In addition, I did video and title animation for clients such as Lifelock and Kronik Energy Drinks. My work has been featured in the SCC Film Festival and the Catch-All Film Festival in Tempe Arizona. My professional career has spanned from production assistant, video editor and camera operator for video production companies and freelance, to working as a Broadcast Technician at a major television provider developing a video training series for their broadcast operations center. I created Avva Digital Media as a means to connect my creative interests with your professional needs. My philosophy is simple; communication is key. My experience in this industry has taught me that both parties in a creative relationship must know what to expect from each other. For me that means fully understanding your vision and the goals you have for your project. For you that means fully understanding what I can do to help you realize that vision and attain those goals.
