I am a cinematographer with a passion for time lapse photography and aerial UAV cinematography. I have extensive experience behind the camera which started with work experience with Rajotte Productions in Winnipeg in 2006 where I assisted and operated cameras on multiple shoots. They recognized me as a promising young videographer early on and mentored me to help shape my skill set. After graduating high school, I attended Assiniboine Community College in Brandon, Manitoba enrolled in the media production program, while freelancing on corporate shoots and live hockey productions with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Once I received my diploma, I moved to Calgary where I worked as a camera operator and director of photography on projects that have taken me across Canada and the US including documentaries, television series, and corporate productions for networks including CBC, CTV, Rogers Sportsnet, Superchannel, CMT Canada, Animal Planet, The Cooking Channel, and more. Another area I have an interest and knowledge of is UAV/drone cinematography. I have been flying UAV's for nearly 3 years, and own a DJI Inspire 1 quadcopter. I hold a standing special flight operation certificate and hold valid liability insurance as specified by Transport Canada. Safety and security is paramount when it comes to UAV operations and my SFOC helps recognize me as a safe and responsible operator.
